Nestled in the Adirondack Park, just "spittin' distance" from the Gore Mountain Ski Area you'll find Gore Mountain Farm, home to some of the finest Alpacas in the country.
Since 2002 we've been raising these cousins of the llama in the rustic beauty of upstate New York. We enjoy sharing these wonderful creatures with visitors and our farm is open from 10am to 6pm daily so that you may drop by to meet them.
For those interested in learning about the "Alpaca Lifestyle" we offer sales, service, breedings and guidance. Our farm features a range of animals, from pets to show champions so stop in and talk with us about how alpacas might fit into your life.
At GMF we have an on farm store where you can buy both domestic and imported yarn as well as sweaters, socks, gloves and a whole variety of items made from alpaca fiber. There are also blankets, raw fleece and the softest stuffed animals you'll find anywhere!
So whether you're looking to start a farm, add or improve your breeding stock or just out for a day of skiing, rafting or a day in the Park make it a point to drop by and learn why we call our charmers "Unicorns without Horns"!
