Gore Mountain Farm Alpacas is just minutes from the Gore Mountain Ski area. For most skiers, you will drive right by us on State Route 28 on your way to the hill.

To find us set your GPS for 2642 State Route 28 North Creek, NY. Some GPS systems have trouble with that address, if so try Wevertown, NY instead of North Creek. If that fails there is an alternate system called MAP, you can find it at most gas stations, convenience shops or bookstores - OR you can follow the directions below:
From The South - Take I-87 (The Northway) from Albany to Exit 23 (Warrensburg). At the ramp go Left across the highway and then Right onto Rte. 9 north. GO through the town of Warrensburg until you reach a blinking light (about 4 miles). Turn Left at the light onto Rte 28. Follow 28 about 11 miles to the light at Rte 8. Continue straight on Rte 28 for 1.3 miles - Gore Mountain Farm is on your right.
From the North - Go south on I-87 to Exit 25 (Rte 8). Turn Right (west) on Route 8 and proceed about 10+ miles to the light at Route 28. Turn Right on Rte 28 and the farm is 1.3 miles on your right.
From the West - Two choices here. If you are south of us, go to Albany and pick up the Northway (I-87) north to Exit 23 (Warrensburg) and follow directions above. If you are further north (Syracuse, Utica) you can take Rte 365 east to Rte 8 East through the southern Adirondack Park. Be sure NOT to get on the western end of Rte 28 to Old Forge it will add over an hour to your trip. Follow Rte 8 through Speculator towards Wevertown (don't miss the left where Rtes 8 & 30 diverge) continuing until you reach the light at Rte 28. Go Left on Rte 28 and the farm is 1.3 miles on your right.
From the East - Get to the Northway (I-87) and follow directions from either North or South above.
